![]() ![]() ![]() The Joker is fun but he’s always a real money skin and he’s only sold in a pack with other stuff for like $30.I think Peekaboo’s juggalo/goth clown alt is hilarious but I’ve never been able to bite the bullet and buy her.Mezmer is another guy I’ve come EXTREMELY close because I think his mask is rad.Sandshark Driver reminds me of Gum from Jet Set Radio. They’re actually in the shop as I’m writing this. I’ve come very close to buying ISO and her male counterpart. She’s just a cool cowgirl and has lots of alt styles. I’d love to have Calamity, but she’s a battle pass and as such will never rerun. She’s priced cheap and I think she’s cute. There’s a fair amount of evidence in her favor (but this post is long enough as it is), and I was all prepped an ready to buy her back when I thought she was right around the corner.Īs for skins already in the game, I can just skim a list to tell you that. It seems like she was really close to releasing and then got held up at the last second. Partially because of what I just described, but partially also because of “Santa’s Lap Syndrome” where I’m sure I’ve said “oh I want that in Fortnite” but now I cannot for the life of me remember a single thing.įollowing through on Samus would be nice, I guess. If you mean: are there any skins not in Fortnite that I really want? I don’t know if I can answer that. It actually genuinely influences my spending habits because I’ll think, “I’ve wanted this guy for a long time, but I don’t feel like deleting anything for him.” Every time I get or buy a new skin, I have to make the hard decision of what I can safely replace. I am drowning in so many skins that the 100 locker presets Epic gives you is nowhere near enough. I get free currency daily for having a Fortnite Founders Pass (hence why I have every Battle Pass). ![]() I’ve had every Battle Pass since Chapter 2. I’ve been playing Fortnite regularly since 2019. That’s all! I’d also rather play a full 3D game that doesn’t change its camera to 2D mode ever, at all! If they want to make a 2D game, do a fully 2D game. And it became more and more obvious it was a compromise as they started leaning on it harder and harder and harder, to the point where I think Colors or Generations (and maybe even Forces?) are something like 75-80% in 2D mode. doing the “and now the camera switches to 2D mode!” stuff, because it felt less innovative and more like a compromise. In particular, that’s one of the things that bugged me about Unleashed/Generations/etc. That’s blanket and vague I know, but I don’t see why a franchise like Sonic has to be specifically only 3D, or specifically only 2D, when you can make games in either style. I think there’s value in making games that are good. Sonic 4 Episode 2 was a lot better than Episode 1, but not so good as to erase the memory of how bad Episode 1 was, you know? I’d say yes, but isn’t that what Sonic 4 was? And Sonic 4 is kind of this awful stain on the franchise. Battle mode is an intense multiplayer experience that still has the breakneck pace of the main game, and is more than just simple PvP.I mean, I dunno. When the first demon player dies, the Slayer player has 20 seconds to kill the other one, or the dead demon will respawn with half health. The maps in Battle Mode are unique to that mode, and their design features a wealth of twists to encourage players to keep on the move. The catch, of course, is that the demons can spawn enemies in the world that are controlled by AI, and they have their own unique attacks, and the ability to block loot spawns for the player temporarily. Like in the main game, players can use glory kills and chainsaws to get loot like health and armor, and the Slayer player will be significantly more powerful than the demons ones. The Slayer comes fully equipped with all guns and upgrades, essentially making them a walking tank. The objective for both teams is simple, destroy the other team. Battle Mode only takes three players, with one playing the Doom Slayer and the two others teaming up as demons. ![]()
